CCI's next symposium will be held from 2-3 July and will involve workshops, presentations and contributions from CCI staff, CI's, students and Advisory Board members.
Thursday 2 July will focus around a CCI Emerging Scholars (Research Higher Degree (RHD) and Early Career Researchers (ECR) Professional Development workshop which begins at 9am and is held at QUT in Z2 Block, Level 3, Room 305, Creative Industries Precinct, Kelvin Grove Campus. Topics to be covered include:
• vision and research agenda: how you fit in it
• CCI RHD graduates and ECRs on career choices and strategies
• Professional development courseware, funding, and other opportunities
All CCI RHD/ECRs and emerging scholars are invited to attend.
In the afternoon, a CCI Advisory Board meeting will be held from 3-6pm. Only Advisory board and Management Committee members are required to attend. A CCI Symposium dinner will follow on Thursday evening at 6.30pm. All are invited to attend.
Friday 3 July will be a normal CCI Symposium with sessions including:
• The Ideas Jam results: 'Mainstreaming the Centre'
• Internodal opportunities
• Forward research agenda for 2010
The Symposium will be held at QUT, Kelvin Grove, Creative Industries Precinct, in The Hall, Z2 Block, Level 2, Room 226 and will commence at 9am on Friday 3 July.
